No Fixed Abode have over the last few months been attending the Black Lab in Leeds, initially set up as a 3-month project initiated by artist collective Black Dogs that seeks to experiment with autonomous and self-organised methods for the exchange and collective production of artistic knowledge.

We are also currently working with Charlotte Morgan at developing a complimentary program to coincide with the conference Politics of Utopia: Marxism, Myth and Religion that is being organised by the University of Sheffield Languages Department with the Bakhtin Centre and the Centre for Ernst Bloch Studies. The Politics of Utopia will examine discourses of myth, utopia and religion in 20th century culture and society, in relation to Marxism and Marxist thought.
