We are currently developing two events as part of the show The Function of the Oblique curated by Atillia Fattori Franchini. The first event, on the evening of 19th May 2012, will be a screening of Graham Ellard and Stephen Johnstone’s works Neue Museen and Things to Come, along with Daniel Eisenberg's film Displaced Person. Following this Daniel Eisenberg will be joining us alongside artist and Utopianist Dan Smith, writer and curator Gil Leung, and Dr Amanda Crawley Jackson for a discussion around the historical context and potentiality of the oblique. We would like to thank LUX for their support with this event. For the following event, on 25th May 2012, curator Paul Pieroni [ SPACE ] will lead a discussion in which he hopes to problematise the oblique as a metric of reference.

Also, on 3rd June 2012, Event Show: A Way of Doing Things, curated by Toby Huddlestone will open at Crate in Margate. This will be followed by a symposium at The Showroom on 14th June 2012.

Finally, we are continuing to work individually on the group project Homeland, with Cat Moir and Charlotte Morgan, developing a project with students of University of Sheffield called Analogous Frequencies as part of a broader investigative framework within Homeland. The project will be broadcast in Sheffield in late June. More info to follow.
